Jahan Foolad Almas is a knowledge-based company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and operation of various hot rolling lines for sections (rebar, I-beam, angle, channel, wire rod, etc.). With its experienced design team consisting of domestic and international engineers and experts, the company has successfully localized hot rolling lines with a capacity of over 300,000 tons per year for the first time in Iran.
With its successful experiences, Jahan Foolad Almas has been active as the first manufacturer of rolling mill machinery, utilizing its design team composed of Iranian and foreign specialists and engineers, and drawing on over 50 years of experience in the field of hot rolling in various countries. As the first and largest manufacturer of hot rolling lines in Iran and the region, in 2020, the company signed a contract for a 400,000 tons per year rolling mill with Foolad Amin Simorgh Company, thus bringing the thriving industry to capacities exceeding 300,000 tons per year.
The hot rolling line for Foolad Amin Simorgh Company incorporates the latest global technology, utilizing housingless stands consisting of 18 horizontal and vertical stands and a 94-meter-long cooling bed (unprecedented in Iran) in a hall measuring 370 meters in length and 25*2 meters in width. This line has the capability to produce various alloy steel rebars in sizes ranging from 8 to 60 millimeters in both plain and deformed forms. Additionally, the line can produce coil bundles in 2-ton packs in alloy form for downstream industries, with sizes ranging from 5.5 to 16 millimeters
The next project of Jahan Foolad Almas is the construction of a 180,000 tons per year hot rolling line for Foolad Kaveh Zanjan Steel, utilizing a classic sinusoidal line system and top-open stands. This project, which is currently under construction on a 4,000 square meter area, has the capability to produce rebar in sizes ranging from 10 to 32 millimeters.
The manufacturing facility of this project is equipped with CNC machines, including boring, milling, turning, hobbing, heavy and light machinery, as well as various CNC cutting, plasma, and bending equipment. The company declares its readiness to manufacture various machinery in the field of steel and other heavy industries.
Jahan Foolad Almas possesses one of the country’s strongest engineering design teams in the industry and is the first company with a systematic design team in the field of industrial machinery.
